People

The most rewarding subject matter for me to paint are people.  Nothing is more interesting than other human beings, whether  I casually encounter them on the street or in a formal pose. It is wonderful to be able to impart the feeling of life and emotions within my subjects. I particularly love the way sunlight plays upon the figure and creates patterns of light and dark which accentuate the form.
